• Removal of gutta percha during root canal retreatment 

• Softening of obturation materials for easier instrumentation

• Known hypersensitivity to orange oil, citrus derivatives, or any component of the formulation.

• Avoid use in cases where extrusion beyond the apex may occur or in patients with sensitivity to essential oils.

• Apply a small amount into the root canal 

• Allow it to act for a few seconds to soften gutta percha 

• Proceed with mechanical removal using files 

• Repeat as required during retreatment
