• Calcified root canals 

• Narrow and constricted canals

• During biomechanical preparation of root canals

• Isolate the tooth using a rubber dam. 

• Prepare access opening and determine working length.  

• Apply 17% EDTA solution into the root canal using a syringe with side-vented irrigation needle or suitable applicator. 

• Allow the solution to remain in the canal for approximately 1–2 minutes. 

• Gently agitate if required for enhanced smear layer removal. 

• Continue canal preparation and recapitulation as needed. 

• Perform final irrigation with sodium hypochlorite (BhooJaa SHS solution) or sterile saline after EDTA use. 

• Dry the canal thoroughly with paper points before obturation. 

• Use only under professional dental supervision.
