This chlorhexidine-based gel delivers a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against various microorganisms, including Enterococcus faecalis, a bacterium known to be resistant to some antibiotics.

• Disinfection during root canal treatment, especially in multi-visit or retreatment cases

For Root Canal Therapy:

• After completing mechanical debridement and irrigation, dry the canal with sterile paper points.

• Apply RC–Hex Gel into the canal using a lentulo spiral or syringe tip, avoiding extrusion beyond the apex.

• Leave the gel in the canal between appointments or before final obturation.

• At the next visit, flush the canal with sterile saline 



 

For Periodontal Use (Pockets, Pericoronitis, Peri-implantitis):

• Clean the area thoroughly and debride if necessary.

• Apply RC–Hex Gel directly into the periodontal pocket or infected peri-implant/pericoronal area using a blunt cannula or applicator tip.

• Do not rinse immediately. Allow the gel to remain in contact for maximum effect.

• Reapply daily or as advised by the dental professional.

• Gel form ensures better contact time and adherence to tissue surfaces
